Product & AI consultancy
We ship software and get teams working with AI.
Cinnabar Ventures takes products from idea to production, and helps teams make AI part of the daily work: choosing the tools, training the people, and wiring it into the workflows until the new way is the normal way. Run by Jean-Pierre Webb, an operator first and a builder second.
What we do
Three ways in. One standard: it ships.
Every engagement ends with something running in production: a product, a workflow, a system your team uses on Tuesday morning.
Idea to production
Product build
Bring a product idea; get working software. Scoping, build, deployment, and iteration, without standing up an engineering team first. AI-native development is what makes the economics work.
AI in the workflow
Operations
We find where the manual hours go: pipeline updates, reconciliation, reporting, follow-ups. Then we build AI into those workflows until they run themselves, from first pilot to daily habit.
Fractional product leadership
Embedded
Product ownership and account management for teams that have engineers but need the translation layer: turning business intent into a build plan, and keeping clients in the loop while it ships.
For leadership teams: Cinnabar advises executives and owners on where AI changes their company's cost structure: which workflows, which tools, which builds, in what order. Then we stay to stand it up.

Recent engagements
Client work is confidential by default. These are the shapes of it.
CRM replatform
Replacing Salesforce with a custom-built CRM inside a production business platform: full data migration, billing-system integration with NetSuite, AWS infrastructure. The new system is live in production, with a working sales pipeline running on it; final cutover is underway.
Fractional product leadership
Product owner and account manager across a development agency's client portfolio: scoping, delivery management, and the weekly translation between what stakeholders want and what engineers build.
Ingrexa
An employment-verification platform for the Mexican market, co-founded with a partner who first needed it for his own family business. Ingrexa verifies a candidate's identity and legal eligibility to work against Mexico's official registries (RENAPO, IMSS, SAT) and handles onboarding document collection. Idea to production: the model Cinnabar sells, applied to our own product.
About
Operator first, builder second.
Jean-Pierre Webb spent fifteen years in the restaurant and wine business, including founding a wholesale wine company and growing it from zero to $3M+ in revenue across 500+ accounts. That's where the product instincts come from: start with the real problem, build what people actually need, ship fast.
He is not a career software engineer. That's the point. Modern AI development tooling closed the gap between knowing what a business needs and being able to build it. Cinnabar Ventures is the practice built on that: production systems, real integrations, live migrations, shipped by someone who thinks in revenue and hours, not frameworks.
The name: Cantharellus cinnabarinus, the cinnabar chanterelle, a small, vivid red-orange mushroom of eastern hardwood forests. Jean-Pierre hunts mushrooms. A flush of cinnabar on the forest floor means you've found something good. That felt right for a company name.
